Meditative Circles

Meditative circles are a group of Mandalas created with the intention to create self awareness. The Mandalas were created to nurture a sense of peace and to develop intimate connections with one’s embodied senses. Observing these Mandalas will take you to state of trance where you connect with your inner self. Each Mandala is designed with different colour palette and is left for interpretation by the observer.

What does a Mandala Symbolise

A mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol. In the Hindu and Buddhist traditions, Mandalas are an object of meditation to aid in one’s spiritual development. The word Mandala comes from the Sanskrit language, which means ‘a Circle or Center’. A Mandala is drawn from the central point and is surrounded by beautiful patterns and decorations that are connected and interrelated. It can be a diagram, chart, or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically

Mandalas are more than just geometric figures. It symbolizes the totality of existence, both the inner and the outer. Mandalas are also found in the things surrounding us from spider webs and flowers to ripples and snowflakes.

About the Artist

Hi, I am Leena, a Mandala Artist from India. Art has always been my passion and an escape to a different world where I could find peace. Life is always full of inconsistencies but the artist never dies. When patterns could create art, it let me to draw Mandalas. When you start at the centre, there is no idea how the mandala is going to form .And that is the beauty about Mandalas, it unknowingly presents the mind state of the artist. I have been drawing Mandalas for over 2 years now and love the fact that I am motivated each day to continue pursue this beautiful art form. I have started to train and share my knowledge with people so that they also can learn this amazing art.
